Fat Princess gets fat delay photo

Quasi-controversial girl-feeding strategy game Fat Princess was supposed to be arriving this month, but unfortunately it has been revealed that the PSN title will be delayed until later in the summer. Talk of Fat Princess had gone rather quiet ever since the beta was launched, and its June release would have left only next Thursday as the release date. 

"Fat Princess will have a global release date," states Sony Europe man Mike Kebby. "but I can confirm for you it will not be next week I'm afraid. The game is coming at some point this summer, but there is no confirmed release date at the moment."

That sucks. PSN games are pretty sweet on a regular basis, and this was looking like one of the best. We'll just have to hang on a little bit longer I suppose.

I guess it'll give me time to go over Bionic Commando and Penny Arcade, but I was really looking forward to this coming out next week..

I can already tell that this is going to be one of those games I've waited to play for so long and have heard so much hype over that it can only be disappointing when it comes out.

I -feeling slightly guilty - had a go on this at E3. It's brilliant, reminds me a lot of Castle Crashers but the class system and the different game modes give it a lot more depth. I wish it was coming to XBL :(

AS long as the delay is a "lets add this, this and this" delay than it's a good one.

This doesn't surprise me at all. The online in the beta was sooooo broken I thought they might delay it. You could only play online with people on your friends list.

No but in all seriousness, I'm breaking the bank with the amount of downloads I can get at the moment, what with MGS1, MGO DLC, SF Alpha etc etc. Fuck.

I'm kind of glad it's getting delayed then (never thought I'd hear myself say that. But also for what Los, Elsa, Pascuz and Mix said.
