Fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld and his sunglasses to voice DJ in GTA IV photo

We heard things while we were at Rockstar Games last week playing Grand Theft Auto IV. Oh, we heard things. We just can't talk about them. But fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld can. Maybe it's because he's largely considered one of the most influential fashion designers of the 20th Century, and he has more money than I do. Oh, and maybe it's because he's in the game.

Women's Wear Daily is reporting that Lagerfeld has lent his voice to Rockstar's upcoming game as a DJ on one of the game's radio stations, K109 The Station. While Lagerfeld doesn't play videogames, he bows down to the cultural significance of the Grand Theft Auto series.

"They are the games of our times," he said. "Those games in a way changed the world."

Alright, another thing those teenagers are excited for in GTA4, homo fashion designers. Can they beat him to death with a bat with hetero intenet?

Wow, thats really random but really fitting. How many of the people likely to buy GTA IV have any idea of who he is?

I'm really getting excited about how the Radio Stations are shaping up. Hopefully, and probably, the Talk Stations will live up and possibly surpass the quality found in the older games.

While I'm not too familiar with this Karl figure, I'm sure he'll lend himself well to the wide variety of colourful opinions.

I'm also pretty excited about the stations. I'm probably most excited about DJ Green Lantern's station; all exclusive music.
The music stations have always been great. they just add more awesomeness to the game

Whenever I think of Karl Lagerfeld, I think of his 70 iPods and appearances on Go Fug Yourself. FABULOUS.

Old person gets points for understanding the potential of videogames.

More like old person who has made a point of noticing pop culture and fads over the years and built a fashion designing empire out of it can see that video games are beginning to hit pop culture critical mass.
