When the "Fortunes Pack" add-on for Far Cry 2 was announced, everyone gave it a once-over and said, "whoa, that's kind of neat." Then they saw the price tag for the downloadable content, and that was the end of that story.
Major Nelson brings us the good news that the Xbox LIVE Deal of the Week is none other than the "Fortunes Pack" for 400 Microsoft Points. I would argue that the silenced shotgun alone is worth the price of admission, but you also get two other weapons, two vehicles, and four multiplayer maps too.

Yeah I bought this game a week ago and have played it a couple times... It's great fun. I need more time to get in to it more though.
"With so many cool games coming out, who has the money to fork over for some dinky weapons?"

And all Infinity Ward gave me was 4 friggin maps, 1 of which absolutely no one plays? Pfft.
I forgot to add, "4 maps for $10 from IW, whereas a LOT more stuff for the same price from Crytek" etc. etc. etc. You get my point: GET THIS GAME/DLC!
That silenced shotgun is super tempting but I'm not sure if I'm willing to pay five bucks for a few weapons and vehicles (likely won't be putting much time into multiplayer). Maybe if I decide to do a second playthrough. Picked this up for 20 bones on Steam last week and 10 hours later I'm only 20% complete and still pretty addicted to it. Really neat game.
I haven't really encountered any nasty bugs at all. The worst thing I've noticed is sometimes the context graphics (like the hand appearing on objects you can grab) get messed up and start displaying as Xbox buttons. No biggie. There was also one inexplicable moment where all my controls seized up except the ~ key, but I'm willing to let that slide.
If you ignore the [b]TWO[/] Vehicles and [b]FOUR[/] Maps included in this "Fortunes Pack" think of it as $1 Per Weapon, and the 2 cars and 4 maps as extra/bonus. :)
