This week, we'll be taking a look at a review for Dragon Age. While there's a little bit of complaining about scores, it's really more about the bickering that happens between 360 and PS3 owners. IGN rated the two console versions the same, but Gamespot gave the PS3 version 0.5 more points than the 360 version!
Right from the start, someone decides Dragon Age should be directly compared to Demon's Souls.
One 360 fan steps in to defend Microsoft's honor...by shitting all over Demon's Souls.
Then, we get a brief interlude while people squabble about scores. One guy thinks the score is way too low...
While another thinks that the game got an undeserving high score just because it's from Bioware.
And then we get to the good stuff. People arguing over the two console versions based on IGN's review vs. Gamespot's review, and in response to the comment about Demon's Souls above. None of the people commenting have PLAYED either version, but that doesn't really matter.
Apparently the way to stop "fanboy nonsense" is to throw out some of your own, like pointing out a game is "crap" because of a .5 score difference from one site.
This isn't convincing enough, so people start bringing in the actual scores to throw around.
Have these people ever actually PLAYED a PS2 game?!
One guy throws out the ultimate insult.
As usual, IGN gets accused of OMG BIAS.
One user uncovers a vast conspiracy.
And finally, we end with an upset 360 owner yelling about Resistance and Gears so he can really stick it to Sony.
That's all I've got. In the spirit of our last comment, I'm going to run my own poll. What's the big hyped game coming out in the next year that you want the least?
Alright. I feel like I'm fully recovered now. Let's get this show on the road. This week, we'll be taking a trip back to YouTube, but not to look at videos. Instead, we'll look at what people have to say about the recent rele...more
It's time for another video roundup! It's been a while since we've seen what all the kids with webcams were up to, so let's check in. ...ok, I'll be honest. I haven't fully recovered from doing Heavy Rain last week, so I'm taking the easy way out and giving myself one extra week off from going through all those terrible forums. I think I've earned it. Prepare yourself.more
I spent a long time this week of thinking how exactly I wanted to cover Heavy Rain. Originally, my plan was to just look at the lowest reviews and look at all the people whining, but that wasn't very exciting. It was mostly j...more
