YouTuber rickonami, who made the HD Mega Man 2 video from earlier this month, has worked his CG magic once again to recreate the intro to Mother for the Famicom, a.k.a. EarthBound Zero. The original opening wasn't much to look at, so he spiced it up ever so slightly. Just remember to stop the video after about a minute unless you are prepared to gaze into the pit of despair.
A couple of weeks back, rickonami also whipped up a spiffy tribute video for the original Double Dragon, which I've posted after the jump. I had forgotten how many platforms that game wormed its way onto.
Impressive! I did a similar video a few years ago, but without the Giegue/Giygas interruption, although if I may nitpick since Mother 1 is my fav. J-RPG, the Devil Machine version of Giegue/Giygas would not have a place in Mother 1. :P
