A version of just the art without the text would be appreciated, the story wasn't exactly anything interesting, but it was really well drawn.

Wow, that was really cool! I felt like one of the few people who wanted to learn the backstories of the other hunters in MP:H, so this was a real treat (even if it was fanfic). Interesting twist on Weavel and such a badass version of Sylux (Nintendo better fucking use him more due to the bonus ending of MP3).
Also, simply fantastic art. Makes me sad I can't do colors nearly that well :(

Impressive art. Writing was... well I guess the translation botched a lot of it, but still. For a fanfic manga, this was pretty damn awesome.
The art is indeed amazing. This guy should do the artwork for Other M's manual or something like that. Speaking of which, that game is going to be amazing.
This is very nice looking. I'm starting to feel a Metroid vibe lately and I'm LOVING it. all I gotta do now is beat Prime, find and beat Fusion, beat Prime 3, and wait for reviews on Other M. WOO

Art was OK, story was incoherent babble. I stopped after the 6th page because my head would have exploded if I kept trying to read that.
The actual Metroid Manga was OK, but I'm hoping they're jettisoning a great deal of that story and that it won't be a big part of Other M. It gave Samus some needed background, but it also went a lot of directions I wouldn't consider canon.

The individual drawings in that are pretty cool, but put it together and the comic's a mess. It's awfully hard to tell what's going on. Luckily, it provides 100% daily value for gratuitous shower scenes.
Aaaaawful cOLD in here...though I do admit to (probably) not having read all of this before (have I even seen a page besides the header image? wanna say "yes", but my bad memory...).

Reading comprehension must be down across the board if you had following something as simple and contrived as this doujin's plot.

Got turned off by the endless talking, so I just picture-book'd it. I was really impressed by the illustrations. I second Mirax; it would be kind of cool to have the artist do some stuff in the manual or a promo comic for the game.

Wow, what's with the asshattery in here? I guess nobody here played Metroid Prime Hunters. The whole thing was pretty cool, and I don't understand this "I didn't get past a few pages" or "it's just a bunch of talking" BS. Did I see something completely different then everyone else?

Problem is, Nintendo of America never translated that either. According to what you linked, it was translated by Mehcadrake and the Mega Man Network guy. Nintendo of America gets no points for that one.

The there was the Super Metroid Comic they did prior to that, which features Samus punching a giant insect in the face.

A lot of it really does look amazing. Shame the text doesn't hold up that well, and the progression of the panels is somewhat substandard. Regardless, I do like it.
