Next year, a new web series based on Halo will begin airing. The show is called Helljumper, and it's an adaptation of author Tobias Buckell's short story "Dirt" from Halo: Evolutions. It follows the life of an ODST and the tragedies he endures leading up the Fall of Reach.
The trailer above is looking fairly polished. Once again, leave it to the fans to do what Hollywood is too chickensh*t to attempt on its own. Friggin' Hollywood.

That looks fantastic. I wonder how the Covenant are going to look though. Hopefully their CGI is good enough. I've always been one for the halo extended fiction. I can't get enough of it.

I'm not sure if I could watch something with dialogue that horrendous. It looks really slick, but I don't expect it to last. I don't see Microsoft letting a bunch of amateur filmmakers profit off of their IP for too long.
Looking nice for a fan-flick, however from early viewing it looks like the script is going to be painfully awful. For a little Halo loving, I might be able to endure.
Not sure where you live and what kind of conversations you have. Where I come from people do not talk like that. The writing is pretty awful. Visually, it looks nice.

It's just that I've heard worse dialogue than that and it's for a Halo property, it's not like it's trying to win any awards or anything.
