I would want a new ZOE and a new Dewprism(threads of fate) most of all. A new Valkyria Chronicles would be sweet too but its hasn't been too long since that came out so I hope that a sequel would happen naturally and not require a whole bunch of people with petitions and surveys to get it made.
I want none on this list. I suppose my tastes are too North American. I'd rather see a sequel to Steel Empire (Flying Edge, Sega Genesis), CastleVania SOTN (The 1999 story perhaps, finally told..WITH Alucard! Konami) Simpsons Arcade Game, Cyborg Justice, REZ.
Bullet Witch was a good idea hampered by poor production values. If a sequel was made with a bigger budget, I can see it being quite successful.

...so, this is a survey of what readers though? Shows what drooling Famitsu readers know about games. Also, maybe I'm missing the point but aren't 96% of these games Japanese? Plus, at least half of them are based on existing franchises so not getting a sequel is hardly a great loss for these people. Resident Evil Outbreak? Okay, I thought that game was an interesting idea but please, let's not forget that it was utter shit. Also, it was made by Capcom who have never shown an ounce of humility in their game design, so you know it would be just as broken now as it was then.

Good call Colette, Shadowgate 2 is the best idea ever (someone should make it for XBLA). I remember the original game as one of my best childhood gaming experiences. I don't know what it was about it that appealed to me so much, but it was gaming nirvana for my 8 year old 'want to explore creepy castles with hidden passageways' mind. The gargoyle on the cover was pure awesome too.
Holy crap I've tried all sorts of witchcraft to "persuade" Capcom to make another MegaMan Legends. Some of the best gameplay I've ever experienced were in those games (mostly the first game, but still).

@Zeushbien: You are not alone my friend. Twinsen's Odyssey is one of my favorite games ever. I've even received an email from the designer saying he and the rest of the original team want to do a sequel but he hasn't been able to get a publisher to fund it.
Makes me sad that shenmue probably won't happen i really wanted an epic final showdown between Ryu and Lan Di sigh....But a skies of arcadia sequel would be kinda cool i think

It's not surprising that Megaman Legends is so high. Not because it's a great series, but 2 ended on a cliffhanger that never got resolved.. eeurgh. I just want a sequel for some closure.
you know other than jet set radio (which I would like to see) rockman, breath of fire, xenogears, wild arms and front mission (all of which have new or port ds or psp versions) I don't know a lot of the games listed, but am not really interested in any of them

Xenosaga was of the same universe but for the most part unrelated to Xenogears (part 5 of a ridiculously long story). The development team wasn't able to continue the actual story due to Square not giving them permission since Square still had the rights to it and the team had left Square. Something never sat right with me in the Xenosaga series. I got the massive art/story book for Xenogears years ago which fills in a lot of the history (although it's in Japanese) of the game which had a huge amount of potential.
