You know the conversation I'm about to describe: the one where you and your friends sit around drinking beer or sharing pizza and talking about the game sequels that you have all fantasized about in the late hours of the night. I hear a lot of common requests every time this convo is had, but people usually just look at me funny when I say I want Shadowgate II (and that crappy N64 game does NOT count).
Well, Famitsu Weekly decided to take a survey and find out what sequels readers wanted most of all. NeoGAF posted the list, which you can read in full after the jump. Sakura Wars came out on top, with Shenmue, Okami, Gotchaforce and Xenogears right behind it. There's lots of other great ones in there (Yeah Lost Odyssey!), and I'm sure you'll find yourself reading the list and agreeing with quite a few of these.
It's worth noting that Famitsu also contacted the publishers of the top 15 titles on the list for comment. Most of them didn't have much to say, but Hideo Kojima replied personally, saying that he often gets requests for this sequel and while it's not something he can take on now he will definitely keep it in mind. There's hope!
Do you have any sequels you've dreamed of that didn't make the list? If so, what are they?
