Fallujah developer announces new game, Breach! photo

Six Days in Fallujah is still in development, but headline-grabbing developer Atomic Games has revealed a brand new game that's coming out first. Introducing Breach, a multiplayer-based FPS that revolves around CIA Special Activities Division officers.

There really isn't much else to go on right now. You can expect viral marketing though, as Atomic is sending out redacted press releases and pretending to be involved with secret government chicanery. Hopefully this game will have a better run of luck than Fallujah's enjoyed. At the very least, a publisher that doesn't chicken out and drop this one would be nice.

how are they making games when their last one hasn't even been released?

Based on the header image and headline I thought this was going to be a game about whales making huge jumps out of the ocean and possibly doing tricks Tony Hawk's Pro Skater style for big points. I am disappointed. I'm getting a bit tired of your continued anti-whale bias Jim.

no single player component??
... I have to admit that I like the trend of online-only games. I often only play single player campaigns because of peer-pressure! LOL!

I'm with Elsa on this one. Single player is something I blaze through quickly, just to get it done, then the meat of my gaming is done online.

I would prefer if they used the SOCOM pricing though, as in, online only games being a little cheaper, but saying that MAG is worth every penny of the full retail price.

I would have still bought Battlefiled BC2 if it was online only too.

there's just something about beating AI that is designed to be beaten that has lost it's charm recently.

I wonder if they have a perk where if you're about to die as a CIA operative, they cut your head off. And then you get a free Predator strike without any negapoints for collateral damage? Make it happen.

If this ends up being a Deathmatch-type affair I'm going to be annoyed. The Special Activities Division's exploits, what's known of them, don't lend themselves to multiplayer gaming.

Albeit they'd make a pretty kickass singleplayer game.

You may have not intended to do so, but I think you have managed to express the state of mind that a lot of people are in. The sense of wanting to help, but not knowing how or where, is something a lot of us are going through.

Another great example of innovation, I am glad to find it. There are so many developers working on this segment but this is one of the best innovative idea ever. Thanks for sharing it here.

It better redefine "dramatically enhanced" presentation to warrant 20 bucks over the free

version (which, I might add, has pretty damn good presentation for a free Facebook game).
