Bethesda’s second expansion for Fallout 3, The Pitt, is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace for 800 Microsoft Points. On the surface, the downloadable content offers new weapons (AutoAxe, ftw!) and a new, rusty area to explore.
Unlike the last expansion, ‘Operation: Anchorage,’ The Pitt is based in reality. No more disappearing bodies, folks. You’ll be able resume your typical looting behaviors and grab anything you want as you progress. However, like the last go-around, you'll be stripped of your end game inventory and confined to the content. Also, as I understand it, another phantom radio signal will give you the mission needed to start the expansion.
My Xbox 360 is humming in the background, eating my bandwidth and sucking my patience. I’ve been waiting for an opportunity to jump back into Fallout 3 since I completed the previous DLC. I’m sure many of you have been as well. Are you going to download this today?

Keep the money in your wallets for now. I went to DL this morning and couldn't, and I hopped on the Bethesda forums, and at gamefaqs.....It's really fucked.
Also, no level cap increase? I thought these were psuedo expansions. I flew through Anchorage in a couple of hours and I'm wary the same will happen with the Pitt.
Guys, get over the level cap shit. It's only going to 30 when the last pack comes out anyway... so it's not like it's been lifted for all time. Fer chrissake, you come off like something's broken about the game because it has predefined ends to it. Cry me a river. It's not WoW.

You could just take all your armor off and stow it like I did. I didn't lose anything, it was all waiting for me when I got out of the Anchorage simulation.
And the first two expansions are bonus missions, with the last one that's coming next month, being a full-on multi-mission expansion.
Just kidding. I can't wait to play this new content. I hope they can patch it quickly.
