Fallout 3 DLC trophies appear, foreshadow DLC release? photo

Poor, poor PS3 owners. While you've been stuck in Washington, DC Xbox 360 owners have taken trips to Anchorage Alaska, Pittsburgh, Point Lookout State Park in Maryland and outer space. Yes, while 360 owners have been running across post-apocalyptic America in Fallout 3's DLC you've been waiting. However, you patience will pay off. In fact Bethesda has been saying that the first DLC, "Broken Steel," should come some time in September, but they've lied to us before.

This time we have a little evidence that they may be telling the truth! It's been discovered that 22 trophies for the Fallout 3 downloads have popped up and you wouldn't put trophies up if you weren't going to be releasing the DLC soon would you? That would just be mean to get all of those PS3 owners' hopes up and then crush them like a fly between chopsticks in The Karate Kid. Bethesda isn't mean like that, though, so I think we're safe from their DLC delaying chopsticks of death. With the PS3 Slim, a decent ad campaign and this news things are looking up for the no-longer-a-George-Foreman-Grill sized black monolith.

List of trophies after the jump.

bought the ps3 version a while back and played very little of it.
I should have waited for the GOTY version.

Ah great, and still PC owners are getting the long shaft of Bethesda shoved up our arses.

@bobyoko,

And your responses are even less worthy of existing entirely.

It's Sunday, which is always a slow news day and Dtoid has ALWAYS been like this. Your free to take your annoyed rantings elsewhere.

Bethesda *isn't* mean like that? Oh, sir, I beg to differ.

Razak was probably hired to help out for the weekend updates, among other things. He has the negative bonus of weekend slow news days to work with, yet he keeps finding neat news. Just chill out, and don't read it.

I think it's great that PS3 owners are going to get to enjoy the DLC soon. I know I've played them all on my 360 but if all I had was a PS3 I'd be really excited. Awesomeness for EVERYONE!

Thanks for posting this but the DLC trophies have been confirmed for a while on ps3tropies.org, and they don't put DLC trophies up on the site until they see a copy of the list on a Sony site.

Really not sure what your on about to be honest. I have Fallout 3 on the PC and I have all the DLC which I bought when they were released, the same time as the xbox release.

I paid way to much for Fallout 3 so I won't be paying another 50% of the price for each DLC pack. (not recieving my promised pre-order goodies was a major reason for this.)

I'll just wait for a friend to pick up the GOTY edition on Xbox. Then maybe I wont be so bitter about not having my soundtrack CD or keyring.

I really looking forward to it. I can't wait for Fallout to rape me again. I just couldn't stop playing until I had the Platinum trophy. Bring it!
