Starting April 3, Bethesda is offering a cheap opportunity for newer fans of the Fallout and Elder Scrolls series to play catch up. The Fallout 3/Oblivion Double Pack, containing both a copy of Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, will retail for $19.99 on PC and $29.99 on Xbox 360. Sadly exempt from this great deal are Sony fans, as Bethesda has not yet been authorized to release a version on Playstation 3, and those overseas, as this is only for North American players. And despite the "Game Of The Year Award Winners" tag, it appears to be standard edition only, meaning you PC players may just want to buy the $20 GOTY editions of Fallout 3 and Oblivion rather than play the DLC sale game.
Sigh. Now if only they'd do that with Morrowind and the earlier Fallout games. Ha ha, that's never going to happen. Or at least, not until 2014.

Watch the worst Fallout game ever made
Jordan and I have started a new game in our Couch Campaign, and it's one that I have been excited to play since we first began talking about the project. As a huge fan of the Fallout franchise and a lover of top-down, exploration shoot-em-up games, the pairing of the two could have been glorious. And Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel is, provided you think train wrecks can be glorious.more
