Faith goes 2D in Mirror's Edge Flash game photo

The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Mirror's Edge hit store shelves today, and chances are you're playing it right now.

But if you're at work stuck behind a desk, here's a neat alternate -- a Mirror's Edge side-scrolling Flash game designed by Brad Borne. The game is currently in beta, but lets you hop, slide, and jump at breakneck speeds throughout the 2D environments. Over the next two or three weeks, Borne will be adding leaderboard, so get to practicing.

If you're more interested in the "real thing," check out our review of Mirror's Edge. Or go buy it, cheap ass.

This looks like it could be cool. I liked Flash Portal better than the real thing.

That's actually pretty good, but I shouldn't expect any less from the dude who made fancy pants adventure.

Ohhhhh crap I want to play this! Even though the PS3 title is the real sandwich, this french fry looks delicious as well.

In all seriousness, I want a PS3 to play Mirror's Edg, I know its arriving to PC and probably 360 too, is just I want to try that experience

this is from the guy who did FPA and it's not bad for a beta, wall-jumping was too clunky and it was unclear as to what was background and was interactive, besides that, I have my new time-waster xD

Very fun flash game, not surprised it's from the guy who made FPA! This could turn into an awesome GBA/DS title.

That was fun, but too short. Would make a good proper game. Add a timer and score-keeping, and you've got a winner.

Love his Fancy Pants games. The sense of momentum just makes it so much fun, and it's great for people like me who lack a 360/PS3 and a good PC.

Pretty bad ass, actually.

I love the art, and the game play isn't bad either. Awesome for a flash title. Reminds me a lot of the Portal flash game, don't know why.
