Usually, Lionhead only gives us between one and three screenshots, and we're supposed to be grateful. I have no idea what we've done to deserve this veritable bounty, but the latest batch contains a full ten images, making this possibly the biggest Fable III gallery in history.
So far, Fable III is looking a lot less bright and cheerful than its predecessor. I hope that's just a case of Lionhead only showing us the dark stuff, as Fable's brightness is a welcome break from all the dark and gritty stuff. I guess we'll have to see.
I've always loved the Fable games in theory, but in practice they keep managing to slightly disappoint me. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for Fable III. Third time's a charm!

This. This is my exact thought, and the reason why I'm holding off on pre-ordering, exclusive crap be damned. The experience of Fable II wasn't horrible...it just left me wanting more and feeling like things weren't implemented to their full potential.
And that ending? If Fable III ends up getting well-reviewed, we better not see another ending like #2. Without spoilers: Every time I think about maybe playing through the game, I am reminded of that and turn to something else.
Fable 2 was supposed to be - good - it was awful.
Fable 3...is a rental.
*highfive*
Right there with ya, bro.

Jesus Christ, man, we all fucking get it; the PC has great graphics, cheaper games, free online, mods, K/M, etc. You're not telling anyone anything they don't already know, so what is the goddamn point of writing the same goddamn thing in every goddamn thread?
My main problem with Fable 2 was the strange way it was incredibly polished in some respects, but incredibly rough in others. The story always wanted to show\do something new but the gameplay was getting old by the third hour (of five or so).
I really do hope Fable 3 fixes these problems. This series has the potential to be something truly awesome but it's wasted every time.
*double highfive*
Definitely want to reserve it so I can get that custom npc quest.
