After a recommendation from a friend, I recently bought the Knothole DLC. Instead of burning through it with my main character, I decided to pick up where I left off with my second character, which was before heading off to Brightwood to meet Garth for the first time. Because of this, I couldn't just breeze through the Knothole quests; each one requires you to continue parts of the main story (or at least it looks that way). I'm finding that this was a good way to tackle it, because I'm having just as much fun as I did when I first started playing the game.
Anyway, that said...I'm looking forward to the new DLC, especially since hearing it's supposedly better than Knothole and it's cheaper (though, the "better than Knothole" bit might just be Molyneaux playing hyper-active PR man yet again).
I feel like this is going to satisfying. Knothole was very cool, but was so focused on level design and effects. This one looks to be way meatier on the story content side.
Plus I'm interested in seeing Fable II played as a hard mode hack and slash. Bring on the Colosseum!
