Fable 2 release date, also limited edition photo

Fans of Albion, sharpen your blades, for Lionhead's long-awaited Fable 2 is finally coming to the Xbox 360 on October 21 for US gamers and October 24 for Europeans.

Prior to the game's launch, the Fable-connected Pub Games title should be coming to Xbox Live on August 13. Pub Games will allow players to gamble and amass in-game money that they will then be able to take and spend in Fable 2. Priced at 800 MS Points, pre-ordering Fable 2 will be rewarded with a code to download Pub Games for nothing.

The Limited Edition version of Fable 2 is looking like a rather sweet deal, as it comes with a DVD, a set of cards, a hobbe figurine and even an extra in-game dungeon. At £49.99, I'm pretty tempted myself.

The day of judgement for Peter Molyneux's anticipated sequel draws near. Here's hoping it can live up to the hype.

That's a great price for a special edition, much better than the £70 GTAIV special edition, which sells for cheap on eBay now anyway.

That looks sexy. I might just get it, I'm not too sure though.

I'll probably pre-order it, since I planned on getting it eventually, and two of the three Pub Games were actually pretty good.

Damn, I wonder if the redeem code works if you order a PAL edition and have a US account :/

I pre-ordered the LE a few weeks back, I'm so pumped for this game that I'm actually even counting the days 'til the pub games hit. I love Fable, and I'm all for special editions that are actually, y'know, special... Between this and Fallout III, October looks like a mighty fine month...

I'll be holding out until about 6 months after its release date and hopefully picking it up for at least $20 cheaper.

It's launching mere weeks after Fallout 3, I doubt I'll have time for Fable 2 until at least January.

Looking forward to some Fable Co-op goodness in October!

BTW China's bootleg release date will be October 20th....or earlier depending on how soon it's leaked.

I'm stuck between the Fable 2 CE or the Fallout 3 CE. With Fallout 3 I get a lunch box, bobble head, keychain, soundtrack, book, Dvd and some other stuff.
But this, I get all that stuff above

Damn my limited cash supply

Maybe this time they'll actually release patches for the PC version instead of having a broken game that tons of people can't play.
