I can't say I've ever rated F.E.A.R's online offerings, only really caring about the story campaign. However, F.E.A.R 3 may change all that, with a co-op mode called "F**KING RUN!"
You know it's got to be good with a name like that.
F**KING RUN mode clubs four players together and pits them against Armacham's and Alma's forces. Sounds simple enough, except for the Wall of Death that will constantly chase the team. If even a single player fails to outrun the Wall, it's game over.
Looks incredibly cool to me, but what do you think?
Sounds interesting, hopefully they add a variant where it isn't over if just one guy gets killed, that would be hell on Xbox Live. It's hard enough getting through a L4d2 campaign. I also think the "Wall of Death" could have been called something more interesting like the "Wall of Perpetual Sorrow" or such. You're all clever I think you can come up with something better.
That's f*ckin' awesome. It reminds me of the old 2D platformers from back in the day where you had to fight your way through and constantly move forward or else the left side of the screen would murder that ass.
The mode sounds interesting and fun on paper. The "no man left behind" could be a double edge sword, though. If the team is only as strong as its weakest player, then it's really hard for people with different skill levels to have fun together. Not to mention all the dicks who will fall behind intentionally. Unless you play with friends, online matchmaking for this mode will be tricky.
Also, is "Wall of death" really the best they could come up with? Then again, they did name their game "F3AR".

F.E.A.R 3 is almost upon us after ten thousand delays (two or three) and I'm pretty stoked. I like the F.E.A.R series and I'm intrigued to see if they've pulled off the rare feat of making a co-op game that preserves a sense...
For some reason I have a hard time believing John Carpenter when he claims to be a big F.E.A.R. fan, but whatever. Here's a new trailer for F.E.A.R. 3, which should have been out ages ago, but is due to arrive on June 21.&nb...
I can't say multiplayer in the F.E.A.R series has ever grabbed my attention, but it seems Monolith is going all out with F.E.A.R 3. The "F*cking Run" mode already has be intrigued, and now we've got the treacherous eliminati...
