Eye of Judgment: Complete Disc includes all the cards

There's card games like Culdcept Saga where you have to play to earn the cards, and others like Eye of Judgment where you must go out and purchase them. If card-based videogames are your thing, but buying and sorting through packs isn't, then you'll be interested in the Complete Disc for Eye of Judgement.

Sony will release this Eye of Judgment: Complete Disk in Japan soon. The disk contains 300 cards, which Siliconera says translates into one card from each of the three 100 card sets. It's not clear if this package actually comes with 300 cards; it may just be the card data for in-game use.

I so want to rock Eye of Judgment with all of the cards. Having all of them would win me over. Really, having to purchase cards seperately was a turn-off, so I hope that the US will see some kind of similar release.

Would you buy into Eye of Judgment if you had access to all of the cards?

Doesn't this essentially defeat the original point of game? I thought they wanted people going out and buying the cards.

I like card games, but I hate the collectible aspect. It's a money sink, and most of the time the person who can piss away the most cash is the winner. I'd prefer it much more if you could build any deck you wanted from static pool of cards.

I'm with Mxyzptlk on this one.

This game does look kinda fun and I would like to see it/try it.

Yes. Yes I would. Having to buy new cards seperately was a huge turn-off in a way. I guess I'm just not ready to commit to something that nerdy (but I have no problem playing Yu-Gi-Oh with my little brother :-p). I'm a big fan of Culdcept so I kind of prefer the fixed set of cards also.

Basically, everything Mxyzptlk said.

id like to see a psp version of this game like the way marvel TCG and yu-gi-oh games are on handhelds.

Like that it would be brilliant, just buy one pack and get it all... prolly a lot cheaper then trying to collect them all :-)

I believe it's just to Update your EOJ "Game Data" for PSN play... I heard it'll be online PSN DL for somewhere around $35 dolla.

If I had all the cards in print form and this came out in the US, once I got a PS3, I'd instantly buy it.

I would definitely buy this if it has all of the cards in print form if it wasn't for one factor: I'm saving my card game dollars for Magic: The Gathering on XBL.
