Haven't watched it yet, but it's nice to see some publicity for Extra Credits. Got into them early last year and have loved them since. They over-analyze sometimes, but that's about it.
I got a lot of my friends hooked onto the series. Also Checkpoint. Also Moviebob. All great shows. :P
I love Extra Credits. I watched these guys' videos back when they only updated every so often on YouTube. They're fantastic. :)
The only problem I have is "What happens with those that join in late?" Since these zones will already be unlocked, will the quests that unlocked them still be present or will there be all new quests for the newer people?
i love this idea. I also love the idea of a whole server coming together and the heads of the guilds electing one person to lead the battle, and that person making an epic speech before leading the charge.

I assume it would be like Space Rangers 2's Dominators. That this ever present foe, the Melding, can push back against the players and new players may be tasked with defending and rescuing areas from incursion.
Just a guess but the whole concept does remind of Space Rangers 2 but now in an MMO format. I got hype.

This actually reminds me of the Portal 2 ARG, how the players had to work together unlock additional levels in the games, and then earn potatoes and log hours in the game all with the common goal of unlocking Portal 2 early.
I mean, completely different of course, but the whole everyone contributing in their own way to a common goal thing.
