There's no reason to sneak if action mode is going to be faster and easier. But if I try to go in guns blazing and the first two guards can take me down on their own, I think I might reconsider.
What I'm trying to say is, if I'm getting my ass kicked on the action element, I'll turn to stealth, but if your action element is as easy as *cough* Crysis 2 *cough*, then I don't think I'll even touch Stealth mode.
And wow, I seem to be bringing Crysis 2 a lot in my latest comments...
You didn't really need to do stealth to survive in Deus Ex, so I doubt they changed it in that regard for DXHR. Of course, you can always put it on the hardest setting and do stealth that way :)
Just as long as it doesn't move toward Splinter Cell "stealth" where you basically have to just kill everyone in the room and the "stealth" option is easiest because you get instant 1 hit kills on anyone that comes within arms reach of you regardless of whether or not they are shooting you in the face.
But stealth was a nice complement, and sometimes rewarded you. Take for example the second mission, at the end (After Battery Park, in Hell's Kitchen) when you had to overload the core. You could either enter through the roof, fighting, or take the ladder down and enter through the back, quietly, overload the core, run out and get up to where the helicopter was. I felt really nice when, after dying twice trying to fight my way down, I was such a breathe of fresh air to be able to sneak from the back.
I completely agree, and I tended to mix up stealth with run & gun when I failed at stealth in most playthroughs.
All I'm saying is that it doesn't look like Eidos Montreal is making the enemies hard enough make it a game where you absolutely need stealth, just like Deus Ex didn't have enemies like that for the most part. You can always gimp yourself in the guns area and make it hard for yourself though. At least, I hope so.
Do you actually have anything interesting or new to say about Deus Ex? Or maybe you could offer some constructive criticism? If you do, maybe some of would actually care about what you have to say.
If don't, perhaps you should stop wasting your time being such a hater and comment on games you like and look forward too.

Ironically you call people haters yet you "hated" on MGS4. Which was an awesome game. So you just trollin... hater.
This video makes me happy. Stealthy Hacker sounds like a good first play through.
Aww..I love MGS4. If we're being brutally honest, the only thing low budget around here is your trolling abilities. And grammar skills!
In other news, I can't wait to play the shit out of Human Revolution. Although I was pretty much sold on the first trailer, this stealth video is pretty exciting. Cyberpunk forever.
