Explore the forbidden zones in Zelda: Twilight Princess photo

A Gamespot forum member used the SuperClawshot code in the GameCube version of Zelda: Twilight Princess to go where no Link was ever supposed to go (after the beta, I'm sure). While we're waiting on wall walkthrough codes and the ability to moonjump to find more goodies, he's posted a variety of impressions and photos of his travels through the netherlands of Hyrule.

Now here is the idea behind the super clawshots. A code was used that made it so my clawshots have INFINATE range, and can grasp onto ANY surface. As an added bonus, it hits the target instantly! This has been an extremely useful tool in accessing inaccessable areas. It also tells em what areas are solid, and where I will just fall through and die.

So what did he find? A long path that at one point probably lead to Death Mountain, the bottom of the Faron Bridge crossing, the Zora River (no current!) and spectacular views of the Hyrule castle from the moat. If you've already beat the game ten times, this will give you something new to do. Check out the complete article

Unfortunately, it isn't as spectacular as the trippy beta levels in The Wind Waker, but the game hasn't been explored with a fine comb yet. Who knows what you'll find?

Pretty cool, its interesting to look at beta versions of games and see what may have been cut out at some point and hidden or removed entirely from the final version.

In coding its easier I think to just deactivate things rather than to delete them outright.

Wow, this looks pretty cool. Too bad it didn't make it into the final version. It looks pretty complete for a beta level...

COOL! I'd love to see this fully explored. It makes since that it only works on the Gaemcube, when they orginally started programming it was probably undetermined what the Wii (then called Revolution)'s roll would be in the whole plan.
I can't wait for what they'll find next. :D
