Every interview the developers of SMB give is fantastic. They obviously care about their game but in a no-bullshit sort of way. It's refreshing.

Every Holmes inteview should end that way... Next interview Reggie Fils-Aime.

Incredible interview.

Man, I wish the game was coming to the PSN. Guess I'll have to wait for the WiiWare version.

I don't see what the big deal is. Still pictures of slaughter are nothing compared to being in an actual slaughter house. Watching throat after throat after throat get cut is pretty disturbing.

On topic, super meat boy looks great! Looking forward to the PC port :D

I remember the cartoons and flash games this dude used to make, if it's the same Edmund McMillen I'm thinking of. Messed up stuff.

It's nice to see you have a cultural side Jonathan. Over here the pressing of noses is a traditional greeting though, not a goodbye. Heads up for next time.

I remember Ed.

Back in the early 2000's he didn't make games, he made little interactive flash videos, many of them with a very morbid sense of humor. He was a pretty big name on Newgrounds. He also ran his own website called thisisacryforhelp.com, and much of his work focused on dead babies. Having spoken with him (and his girlfriend) I can say he's a very bright but flawed guy who was very hungry for success. I'm glad it found him, and on a personal level I hope he's worked out the demons he had nagging him.
