Well Merry freakin' Christmas to us! Square Enix sent us this piece of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers art to share exclusively with the Destructoid community. In the piece, we see one of the heroes from the new game casting some kind of spell. Or maybe he's pulling an Indiana Jones and using an energy whip to swing across the buildings. Either way, he looks happy!
Our review for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers went up on the site this past week and Jonathan Holmes really enjoyed the new game: " ... I think it can stand proudly along side other risky, under-appreciated Squaresoft classics like Brave Fencer Musashi and Tobal 2. Ask someone to buy it for you for Christmas/Hanukkah/whatever, or pick it up used down the line. Just don't write it off as nothing special."

I also think it's awesome that it's a Destructoid-exclusive reveal -- I still get blown away when I think of how far this website has come.
