I would love to work for this guy. Where on Earth was he when I used to be a legal assistant? All of the attorneys I worked under were all "Hey, going home is stupid and I know it's five o'clock but I really need you to get seven days worth of work done in 12 hours and I need it by tomorrow morning OK thanks!"
But Japanese lawyer, Kazuya Maruyama, seems like he'd be fun to work with. A celebrity in Japan, popularized by television talk shows, Maruyama was pegged by Capcom to promote their upcoming DS title, Gyakuten Saiban 4.
Maybe Capcom USA can bring Johhnie Cochran back from the dead to promote the next Phoenix Wright game, and while they're at it, he can also appear in any Dead Rising 2 promotional materials. I have some good ideas, Capcom. Call me; we'll do lunch.

In the Japan games his name isn't Phoenix Wright, so if they port it over here they'll change the name to Phoneix during the localization and update all the jokes for american humor
No, this new guy is Odoroki. Phoenix is Naruhodo. Fromagex is right, this is a new lawyer. It was revealed a while ago that Phoenix was gonna be the first case's defendant.
oh, ok. Then what does Gyakuten Saiban mean? I always figured that was the japaneese lawyers name.
