Evo2k11: Kuma revealed for Street Fighter X Tekken

8:00 PM on 07.30.2011

At the end of the Street Fighter X Tekken panel this afternoon, producer Yoshinori Ono had a bombshell of an announcement. Unwilling to end the panel without a surprise, he showed a never-before seen trailer that gave clues for the next two characters to be revealed in the game.

The two clips were similar to the previous character reveals in which a drawing of the character is presented in pieces. In the first clip, you could clearly images of a foot and hand that had been bandaged. Most in the crowd guessed that it was Ibuki, but Ono wouldn't confirm if they were right or not.

The second clip was much more telling, in that the paws of a bear could be seen. Clearly Kuma from Tekken, Ono announced that he was "back from the wild." To drive the point home, Ono gave his impression of this character, letting out a mighty roar on stage.

Check out the second teaser below.
