I completely agree. You can always tell when someone seriously enjoys everything about games, and Seth always comes across as a guy who genuinely loves the industry.
I actually posted a comment on the youtube video of the grudge match, saying how loveable Seth is. He seems so much fun to hang out with. Then in typical youtube fashion someone replied with "U gay or U a girl?", which restored my faith in youtube users back to it's base value of zero faith.

Hehe..yeah, I've been looking over the youtube comments and besides the critique that I tend to slur words and talk fast (which I do) its been ok so far. Nobody's called me gay....yet.

You did some excellent work on Evo, Mr Cortez. I'm just wondering though - is there something wrong with the sound in the video or is my computer doing silly things?

Some people have been having problems with the videos and we are working on figuring it out. The sound comes out for us, but if its not working for you, you could always see how the sound is on our Youtube channel!

Weird. It's still doing it on YouTube too. If it helps, I'm on a plain ol' 2010 MacBook Pro, and playing it through the laptop speakers makes the bg music almost louder than the interview. But I just plugged in into my stereo and it worked fine. odd.

@Senisan: I love Dtoid as much if not more than the next guy but have you never heard of SRK, EventHubbs or even CapcomUnity? I wouldn't really promote another site like that but Dtoid's fighting coverage isn't exactly all-encompassing, so I, too, must supplement my Dtoid perusing with those niche genre blogs. The most popular of which I listed above.

@Orrin how are you listening to it? It was like that for me until I put it through some decent speakers, at which point it just seemed fine.

It's not a bad mix or the background music overpowering the interview, because the music is pretty low. It's the interview audio not registering correctly on some speakers, resulting in just the background music coming through. We're thinking it's something in the camera that wasn't compensated for and are looking into it. Thank you for your patience!
