Since we first play the title at this year's E3, we haven't run out of good things to say about Jonathan Mak'sEveryday Shooter. I do have something to say about Jonathan's mail provider, though -- that dude's inbox is all kinds of full!
And it's about to blow up even more, because once people get their hands on Everyday Shooter as part of this Thursday's PlayStation Network update, he's going to get mountains of love notes from gamers. The title will be available for $10 this Thursday, and based on the little we've played of it, it seems like a good use of your cash.
But if you're still not sold, stick around for our full review, which we should have up not too long after the game's release. In the meantime, kick back and just watch the trailer ... over and over again.
I want a PS3 now. How could they do this to me? There's no way I can afford it, yet here's this awesome dinky little $10 game, and I'm going to have to shell out $600 somehow for this.
I agree with Dexter...the sound, uh, sounds awesome — I wish I had a surround sound setup, because (assuming the game supports it; I’m pretty sure all PS3 games do 5.1 sound) I’m sure it would sound really cool. I wonder if the game just goes on forever, or if there is an end...because if it’s too short, then I might not want to spend $10 on it. Then again, it does look really cool...
I really like the organic gameplay, the emeny spreading out, growing and defending itself against intruders (you). Would like to see more development of the players ship and weapons over time as well, are those dots he's hoovering up just health or do they lead to better weapons/ship etc.
This was the first game that I've literally gaped at both atristically-wise and gameplay-wise. I watched the trailer about a billion times since i first downloaded it a few weeks ago.
Had no idea it was coming out this thursday though, it actually gives me something to look forward to on ths weeks PSN update.
Having a PS3 actually seems a little bit more worthwhile now.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I must own the leaderboards.
There's a fucking LocoRoco game on there. It's not very deep, but it's LocoRoco.

I hate you, innovative developers. I hate you.
I'm intrigued.
Quick, someone make a crappy knock-off flash version.
I care because the game rocks - literally.
