I'd like to try the PC demo since the awful controls and screen tearing were my two biggest complaints, but I'm not willing to pre-order just to try the demo.
* 70 million helicopters crashed within 5 seconds of takeoff
* 40 million Assaults who did not even once drop ammo during the match
* 30 million Medics who at no time displayed any comprehension of what a defibrillator does.
* 200 million instances of 5 or more incompetent snipers spending the entirety of a lost match standing on top of the mountain in the first area.
* 1.2 billion instances of at least 4 squads containing 3 or less players.
* 50 million instances of the AA gun being used as an antipersonnel device.
* 7 instances of the AA gun being used effectively as an antipersonnel device.
If you had no idea what was going on in a team objective game in the Bad Company 2 demo, you must be pretty lost in MAG, even playing for Sver, which you undoubtedly do. Also, way to be on topic.
Personal experience and extrapolation. If you can think of better sources than those, I'll be impressed.
MW2 is still pretty damn kick-ass (and definitely a LOT more visually impressive than BC2), but i'm definitely gonna pick up BC2.
but for real, wtf is up with the ghillies?? omfg, they look horrible in BC2. it makes you look like a wookie covered in tiny brown pyramids...
some of those stats are hilariously true. I spawned in a game on the attackers side and there were 5 snipers standing on that 1st mountain just chilling. Needless to say we lost that match.
I've yet to have a problem with med packs or ammo packs though. They seem to be littered all over the map when I play...but that may just be me dropping them. I almost always play assault or medic.
With that being said, yay for BC2! Day one.
Have you played the BFBC2 beta. Its a multiplayer demo, and it is one of the best looking games I've ever seen. It looks much more realistic than MW2 in my opinion, and it IS much more realistic, which is probably why I favor the demo over MW2.
