A new European site for Last Window: The Secret of Cape West has opened up with a bunch of screenshots, the above video and more. There's a great prologue in there which fills in some of the gaps between the events of Hotel Dusk: Room 215 and Last Window which is worth the time to read.

If you did not play Hotel Dusk: Room 215, you missed out on a fascinating and well-crafted game for the DS. And if you live in the United States and didn't buy the game, I'm blaming you for there currently being no announced US release. Each and every one of you will suffer my ire if I am forced to import the game. A curse upon you all!

I'm with you Conrad! I'm in America, and I bought the game last December and love it. My favorite game on my DS, even among all of those big name titles like Zelda, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, etc.

I seriously don't want to import it either, but if I have to, I will. The original was that good. This is probably the only game I'd ever import.

Come on guys, please release in America! :(

Maybe we can appease 'Lord' Conrad by sacrificing (read: posting) a copy of Last Window to him. ;O)

Yeah, I liked the first game, bit short though. Let's hope this is a bit longer.

Already pre-ordered. This is going to be good in a melancholic sort of way. Loved the first game and it was refreshing to play an adventure game that didn't jump the shark with a left-field twist. I hope Nintendo get on board and advertise to death like their other DS puzzle games on TV.

Apparently, it's out on the same day as Deadly Premonition. Win Win!

I bought the game a few months ago... used *shields myself*

While I liked it, it has to me the same problem as any adventure "point-and-clicky" games ; I get stuck at a part where I absolutely have no idea what to do. And I don't feel like spending hours clicking everywhere just to get pass it... And of course, I have too much pride to check a walkthrough.

Yeah I know, I can be pretty stupid sometimes :)

I bought this game when it originally came out, 3 years ago. You cannot blame me, sir.

Bought it, played it... liked it. It wasn't as senses-shatteringly incredible as the Interwebs would have you believe, but it was a fun little adventure game and certainly worth playing if you like fun little adventure games. I would certainly play Last Window if it hit North American shores, but Disaster: Day of Crisis, Fatal Frame IV and Trace Memory R give me reason to believe that this won't happen because Nintendo hates us.

I too exempt myself from any blame. Bought it and loved it. Would buy a sequel day one. What gives Nintendo? And what of Xenoblade, hmmm? Your silence is making me uneasy.

As many can see in my nickname I'm free of any blame, but as you point is really sad that NOA don't want to localize this game.

And even that I'm going to import it, I hold a hope that NOA change of mind
