Europeans, rejoice! Your long wait for BlazBlue finally has some sort of reward on the horizon, with the gorgeous fighting game confirmed for a PAL release in the first quarter of 2010. PQube has taken on publishing duties, and the game will be in the hands of Europeans on both the 360 and PS3 early next year.
This we already knew, but we know something else cool as well. BlazBlue will be packing a number of exclusive features when it finally arrives in Europe, things that did not come with either the North American or Japanese versions. The PAL version of BlazBlue comes with an original soundtrack, a strategy guide (like NA did) and, most importantly, a set of new characters and moves. Score!
Sometimes, Europe manages to get a little payback.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
There's probably going to be DLC,unless they plan on limiting online play to that region one set of people having characters others won't see would screw up the balance.
...Though we'll probably get some kind of Blazblue XX #Reload or something. Of course, I can't lie and say I wouldn't buy it.
Fuck my RRoD!
"Blaze" is spelt with an "e" at the end.
Hopefully they can get this fix out for the European release.
You sure do have a fitting name. Blazblue is the correct spelling.

I think these are shown when you completely finish the game and get the true ending. Each character has a crest and 2 (maybe the background 1 is a third?) are shown here, so that's pretty good indication of it.
Here's to hoping Valkenhaym (Rachel's butler) is playable.
