Hey there, Europeans! How are things going? If I were to guess, I'd say you might be feeling a bit left out, what with all of this Rock Band talk that's been going on. In the United States, the game hit shelves last November; Canadians, after a slight delay, have been playing it since early in the new year.

So here's some good news: yes, you're still going to have to wait a few more months for the game's release (we're hearing May), but be patient. The folks over at Button Bandits had a chance to play the European version at this year's Play.com Live, and were able to get their hands on a final track listing. Surprise! There are 10 more tracks than US and Canadian discs!

They are: Blur's "Beettlebum" (English); Tokio Hotel's "Through the Monsoon" (English); Muse's "Hysteria" (English); Les Wamaps' "Manu Chao" (French); Indochine's "L'Aventurier" (French); Playmo's "New Wave" (French); Die Toten Hosen's "Hier Kommt Alex" (German); Juli's "Perfekte Welle" (German); and H-Block X's "Countdown to Insanity" (German).

While some of these tracks might go right our silly American heads, there's still quite a bit to be jealous of here. Muse's "Hysteria", for instance, has always struck me as what would be a pretty kick-ass song in Rock Band, and I'm crossing my fingers it comes to the US via downloadable content. If not, hey — enjoy your exclusive songs. Jerks.

Oh damn, I was gonna say the same thing about Hysteria. I want it, but maybe not as much as Europeans want the actual game.

I had forgotten that they don't even have the thing yet. Poor guys. No Rock Band, no Brawl, they're getting the shaft like America did back in the '90s.

At least Muse is willing to offer songs through DLC. Come on, Knights of Cydonia! Or anything off BH&R, really.

I think you meant Pleymo...
Anyhow, besides the Blur and Muse tracks, I doubt this makes up for such a long delay in the release.

They could make up for it by making Radiohead's In Rainbows album as a DLC. You can name the price for these tracks also. I'm willing to spend 0 quid.

Oh man I was hoping we would get a Muse album for DLC, like Nevermind from Nirvana. I guess this one song shows it may only be a few songs. Map of the Problematique, Supermassive Black Hole, Exo-Politics, and Thoughts of Dying Athiest would rock.

And after playing GH3, Die Toten Hosen's Hier Kommt Alex is an awesome song, only other foreign song I'd want that's also in GH3 is Mauvais Garçon by NAAST.

I actually saw that song list at play.com live but I thought they were coming out as dlc in the us and just forgot about it. Although I love both muse and blur (tokio hotel ain't bad either) I would rather have the game out sooner and not have these songs on it.....they weren't even playable at play.com live!

Ya, Hysteria better come to North America...I don't really see why it wouldn't.

If Hysteria doesn't make it to our shores, you Europeans can go F yourselves. I will have no pity for you ever again for any other game delay.

"We have to wait until 2020 for Smash Bros Super Brawl Melee, suck." "Remember when you got Hysteria and we didn't?" "Oh, right, I guess we can't complain about anything." "You're damn right you can't."

Adding a few extra songs (even fucking awesome muse songs) dont make up for the delay. But then i suppose they really shouldnt have released it so early in america with the faulty guitars and problems they had, that release was just to be somewhere near GH3. Atleast i can understand why they have had to delay, unlkike with YOU Smash bros.

Do want Blur!! Beetlebum is an awesome song. However Song 2 would be fucking perfect for Rock Band. Plus it is a well known song in America

I hope that the German and French stuff will stay in their respective regions. And by that I definetly hope that Tokio Hotel stays in Germany (Because after all, its a German band, not English)!
Though I wouldnt mind singing to Rammstein :P

More UK and Irish stuff!
I want to see Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Dire Straits, Big Country, U2, Wishbone Ash, Radiohead, Queen, The Police, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, The Beatles, Eric Clapton, Def Leppard and Deep Purple!

If European countries gets their own unique songs, could we Norwegians get Turbonegro's "Fuck the world"?
Some Kaizers Orchestra, Dimmu Borgir, Madrugada, Dance With a Stranger, El Caco and A-HA stuff would be cool as well! :)

"Muse's "Hysteria"

YES! Hysteria was one of the songs on that giant list that was found on the game disc. Since the songs were listed without artists though, no one knew if it was Muse's Hysteria or Def Leppard's.

Now they just need to get on with releasing it already. Hopefully it'll be sooner rather than later and maybe they'll even do a Muse pack (or two?). Apocalypse Please, Thoughts of a Dying Atheist, Plug In Baby, Hyper Music, Exo-politics, damn, I could go on and on.

Come on people freaking out about this. Why can't us get a little more out of our game as a sorry for the delay? Yes I'm looking at maxx77's general direction.

Beetlebum and Hier Kommt Alex makes this awesome news. Also I kinda knew there was exclusive euro tracks before this. And the may release date may be quite accurate.

@Cubilone: I'm fine with that, just as long as we get access to those songs (or just that one song in particular as far as I'm concerned) too. I'd be willing to pay for it, not saying we should all get those songs for free.

Hysteria looks kick ass,

As a side note, I saw an interview with Matthew Bellamy when they played the Big Day Out 2007 (lead vocals) and as always, he was saying what a beautiful place he had come to. Then he comes out with 'I think I thought it was beautiful last time I was here too, but some guy was handing out free drugs backstage, so I dont really remember'.

Now thats fucking Rock and Roll
