Nice! It sounds like a step up from this PS3 Trophy app I'm currently using on my Android. It shows my trophies and friends list with, take note Sony, my online friends being displayed at the top of my list!! Seriously, get on that with the PS3 friend list!!
Cool, I'll pick it up if (WHEN) it comes stateside. It would be nice if we could use it to actually message our friends, but I'll just cross my fingers that that'll happen someday. (Ditto for the PSN website.)

They better include account management and/or code redeem option and game purchase. What would make it awesome would be if you could buy a game on the app and have your PS3 turn on and download it. So when you get home, its finished. Maybe that's what the remote access option is for in the PS3 settings. Anyone manage to use their cell phone to pair it with their PS3?

Well, it's a start. I'll wait to seethe with jealousy until the things start running Playstation Minis or something.

Not really. Yeah they've sold a few million more units but it's certainly not that drastic. More likely they want to just put it in one particular market to test the software out and get feedback before launching worldwide. So, Europe it is, for now.

It doesn't say anywhere on the blog that the US won't be getting it. The blog just states which European countries will get it at launch. It's a SCEE blog so they probably don't feel the need to mention any details regarding other regions.
After year of coming third in the gaming world, now it is OUR time! WE have the Sony app, WE HAVE THE POWER!!!... Actually this is pretty meh, but beggars can't be choosers. If you do this for us with the 3DS though, I'll be very grateful Nintendo. Please?
