A listing on Amazon Germany has revealed that a new Xbox 360 bundle containing Rocksteady's upcoming Batman: Arkham City will be making its way to Europe on October 21.
The bundle, unlike other more notable ones in the past, will not contain a custom Xbox 360 console with the design and start-up sound related to the game but rather a standard 250 GB Xbox 360 Slim model, one controller, a headset, and of course Arkham City.
This is sad because having your Xbox 360 say, "I am the Batman" when pressing the start-up button would be unbelievably awesome. We've contacted Microsoft about the possibility of this bundle making its way to the US, and will update when we get a response.

I don't know, Jimmy. If I were to go out and buy the Uncharted 3 PS3 bundle I could buy the PS3 version of Arkham City at the same time. The PS3 can play both games, the 360 cannot, for that reason alone (not to mention the bigger hard drive and much better lineup of future games) I must conclude that no, the 360 Arkham bundle will not "eat" the PS3 Uncharted 3 bundle.

I can't wait to play Gears 3, a great game is a great game, regardless of the system that it's released on. It just so happens that in the year 2011 and it's looking like 2012 too - Microsoft don't really give a shit about releasing great games, they're all about Kinect now. That's what you should take issue with. Calling Gears 3 a critical flop just makes you look like an absolute idiot. It's a critical success and I'm sure it's been a commercial success, too.
