yes, but the more important thing is that Namco, Capcom and Sega are working on new crossover game for 3DS.
It should be noted that Nizou Yamamoto was art director for Princess Mononoke and several other Ghibli titles. I am so excited.
This is great news for 3DS owners, the Etrian Odyssey games are always fantastic, I cannot wait for this to hit.

As someone who has spent an embarrassing amount of time with EO1-3, I'm hoping for a "masochist" difficulty setting in addition to "normal" and "casual"... but "normal" will be fine.

@Bomber: His answer will probably be yes, but it's largely irrelevant since the characters are never visible except for some static portraits, and the real draw of the series is how fucking unforgiving it is. Anyone who picks up an EO game just for the character art is likely to put it back down very, very quickly.
Plus, you build the party yourself, and you've got all those classes to choose from with 4 portraits apiece (adult man/woman and *ahem* young man/woman). So whether it is or isn't has more to do with the individual player's, erm, predilections, I think.
