New gameplay trailer for Ether One takes us to the coast
When we last saw some footage from the first-person puzzle title Ether One, we got some really lovely locations (and the game was simply called "Ether"). Now there's almost four minutes of gameplay footage showing off some of the game's deliberate pacing and haunting voice over. It's clear the devs at White Paper Games are valuing story and an emotional connection here. Judging from the trailer, this looks like it's going to have environmental puzzles that you'll need to solve, similar to Penumbra and Amnesia. There seems to be a sci-fi conceit which you can read more of on the official website (spoilers, guys?). You can also Greenlight Ether One on Steam now if first-person puzzle games are your thing. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
