Eternal Sonata PS3 exclusive character screens photo

During my entire time spent playing Eternal Sonata on the Xbox 360, all I wanted to do was play as Prince Crescendo, not least because he's voiced by Cam Clarke who I kind of love. It makes me bubble with envy then, that the upcoming PlayStation 3 port will indeed feature a playable Prince of Baroque, something that was never bestowed upon me last time.

NeoGAF has the pictorial stash, which we're sharing with you here. Eternal Sonata was a fun and nostalgic RPG romp, although repetition and a thoroughly random ending damaged its prestige. While Prince Crescendo and his wife are certainly cool additions, I wouldn't play through the game again for them. PS3 owners, though, could certainly stand to check this title out when it hits.

I never got this for 360 since the combat seemed boring but damn is this game gorgeous. It's like playing anime.

Yeah, this is definitely a good-looking game. I might have to check it out for the PS3.

Still... a repetitive game... with a lot... of pauses... between the dialogue... making it very.... annoying to play...

Wasn't it said that any game that is on the 360 then on PS3 with extra content would be put out for the 360 version for free?

Hamsizzla: He was. He was also Dogtanian, and has done many game voiceovers, as well as an album of gay-oriented love songs. The man's fucking legendary.

He's saying "HAY GUYS, I LOOK LIKE A PORCELAIN DOLL, LOLZ!"

Seriously, do some Japanese artists forget what men look like?

I'm still planning on buying this game again.

I liked the 360 version quite a bit and I'll buy it on a blu ray for the extra content.. unless they release said content as a DL on XBL

This game was sooooo boring. Who cares? It was one of the lamest stories I've ever sat through. There was NO point to the whole Chopin thing. I beat it only because I invested so much time in it I figured I should. But I traded it right away and didn't care about what gamestop would give me. The only thing this game had was great graphics since it looked a lot like a cartoon. Heh, every character had their arms stuck out like stuffed dolls. Combat was insanely easy to the point of boredom.

I'm sorry but I was really hoping for this game to be good and it's just such a huge let down.

Eternal Sonata is certainly flawed, but I love it to death all the same. Would certainly be getting this if 360 doesn't see the new content as DLC sometime down the line.

Hopefully they do more than just add two playable characters. Maybe take some constructive criticism and tighten up some gameplay and story elements. Hell, when you wait a year between a release, you expect shit like that.

I'm a pretty big fan of JRPG's and I found Eternal Sonata to be extremely dissapointing. I almost couldn't finish it, it was that bad. The story was weak and the ending was hilariously bad. On top of that, it was probably the most linear RPG ever.
