ESRB: Two Worlds II features exposed buttocks photo

You can't go wrong with an ESRB summary. Sometimes they're more entertaining than the games they're describing, and they rarely fail to make any bit of software sound utterly tantalizing. The latest discovery is Two Worlds II, which contains bondage references, slashed townsfolk, and seductive, exposed buttocks.

This is a fantasy role-playing game in which players assume the role of a warrior who must complete quests throughout the land of Antaloor. Players use swords, maces, arrows, and magical spells to defeat human soldiers and fantasy creatures (e.g., orcs, demons, mummies). Injured enemies grunt or scream in pain and emit large splashes of blood that stain the ground; some attacks result in bone-crunching sound effects.

Players can also slash at unarmed townsfolk who cry out in protest (e.g., "No, please! Stop it! Get away!"); some cutscenes depict creatures that have been impaled on large spikes. Other sequences include references to prostitution and sexual material (e.g., "Men pay women for their company, nothing more. It never becomes physical unless the girl wants it to" and "[He] did force himself on me. He invited me over under the false pretense of discussing an exam I failed.").

One quest allows players to access journal entries that reference explicit sexual fantasies of submission and bondage. In one cutscene, a female character's buttocks are exposed as she seductively approaches a male character. Language such as "f**k" and "sh*t" can be heard in the dialogue.

Creatures impaled on large spikes, submission, and big ol' arsecheeks. Sounds like my kind of game.

Awesome! Will be buying this game on release day! I've been missing Oblivion and at least this will tide me over to the next game in that series... and hey, additionally this one has naked butt cheeks!!

Is it just me, or is destructoid (particularly Jim) linking more and more ESRB reviews lately? Talk about trying to get your post count up, huh Jim? I don't check this website to read ESRB summaries. If I wanted that, I would go to their website. Thanks.

And you think that comment of yours was the Second Coming or something? Fine, go to their website, then. We don't need to know your personal agenda.

I somehow wound up with a promotional teeshirt for Two Worlds 2. It's got a picture of a helmet and it says "SORDA HUNG" in medieval lettering. I wear it around the house to embarrass my girlfriend.

That being said, I think buttcheeks and cursing are good things, so I am now officially interested in this game.

It does seem like posting ESRB descriptions has become the thing to do on videogame blogs. Once in awhile, and if it's something really funny, then it's fine, but it does seem like a cheap way to create content. I don't know who started doing it, but they're popping up everywhere now.

Yeah, we saw this is the screenshots released a little while ago. It's a tremendous butt too. Anyway, you should all buy this game when it comes out since it seems like no one else has bothered to DOWNLOAD IT FROM THEIR SITE yet!! WTF?? I have been playing this for a month and a half on my PC and it is nothing short of AWESOME. (Those of you waiting for the console version are forgiven.)

I make no mention of any sort of agenda of my own, but whatever. Anyway, sorry if that came off sounding harsh, I dont mean for it to be so. It is just somewhat annoying. Otherwise I find you generally interesting Jim.

I've done two in two days. The last one I did was months ago.

You might want to take those blinkers off because you made yourself look incredibly stupid, mate.

I can't see this game succeeding. It seems that there's an emphasis on the dark atmosphere, cussing, and exposed bums. In other words, nothing is being said about the gameplay, which is what really matters.

Destructoid hasn't talked about it much, but other sites that have played the game and talked about it, said the gameplay was miles ahead of the first one and that they fixed a lot of issues. but this is still a wait and see for me, cause the first one promised a lot but never delivered anything.

so, none of this is actually in the game....because the ESRB and the Movie Rating system finds the 80 iq retards of moral standing....and hires them.

I want a job, where i could just phone in what I think of a 'thing' and collect a paycheck.

Amazon's giving $10 games credit for the preorder, and it's got me interested, although honestly I think I'm partly just dying for an RPG to take my mind off my debilitating Skyrim obsession.

Bums aside, I can't see myself getting this until I'm sure they've fixed everything that was wrong with Two Worlds.

this is supposed to be a somewhat medieval setting is it not? having "fuck" and "shit" in the dialogue would sound pretty damn out of place in a fantasy world one would think."henceforth...we must mount our trusty steeds and attack these vile fucking goblins, we strike at dawn, and for those who fall without kin,one shall be appointed to bequeath your shit"

I am telling you all (again--for all the doubters/haters) that Two Worlds II is an incredible game. Download it for yourself and see. It is available from the Shop link on the official site. I have only found one bug in 35+ hours of awesome playing and that was my horse getting stuck between a rock and a wall (I just left him there and 'hoofed' it to my destination lolz). Seriously though, great animations, great combat, great magic, great NPCs, great side quests, great music, great weapons and armor, great monsters, great writing, great lighting, great big world to explore--what else do you want?? Anyone with a complaint about the first one will be more than seriously impressed with the sequel. Anyone who likes open world third person RPGs will be seriously impressed. You'll see.

Feel sorry for those that still have to wait. Already played and finished it.The game itself is an improvement but is still lacking. The open world is boring its just animals mostly with a few locations to visit. The voice acting is better but has flaws with speech not matching the text.Visuals look better with the latest patch. Just remember not to get sick watching the motion blur. Also just wait to you get to the huge Island and find you have to go online to explore it.

When it first released you could import it from Amazon.de, and im guessing a absolute ton of people from all over where it got delayed did just that. Finished paying off my preorder months ago.

it's been out in europe for awhile. i imported the ps3 version, and i'm loving it.
i've dumped around 30 hours into this game, and only done chapter 1 and side quests (chapters 2-4 are not as long).

those looking for an elder scrolls replacement, should read more into what this game actual is. it shares some elements of elder scrolls and gothic games, but also borrows from the diablo/sacred school of hack n'slashery. then wraps it in an open world package.
... and by open world; i mean games like gta, rdr, and ac. which is to say much less open than oblivion or gothic or two worlds 1 for that matter.
essentially it's a mediocre action game with an awesome and very hardcore rpg at it's core.
