You and I don't think much about ESRB ratings before we buy games, but moms and dads do. And kids do, as the rating may be a barrier for purchase. If you need to know, wow there's a way to quickly find out a game's rating using your iPhone with the ESRB's new iPhone app.
Mom can shut down little Timmy's gaming dreams with a few finger swipes now. She's probably crossing off games on his Christmas list as we speak. Forget asking about games at the store. She can shut him down right there. This free app gives the ratings and summaries of over 18,000 titles, which is all titles since July 2008. Simply type in the game name and see what the rating is.

Isn't that like advertising or something?
In fact, if you have an iPhone with you, the app is already redundant.
When the kid ask you about it and you're nowhere near a store. In a car or basically wherever the kid first ask for it.
