During GDC I had the chance to speak with Eric Stoll, game designer at High Voltage Software, the developer's upcoming year. They seem to be hitting many angles with from digital downloads like Animales De La Muerte, first-person shooter Conduit 2 for the Wii, and perhaps a Conduit for the Nintendo 3DS on the horizon.
I got a chance to check out all three titles and came away impressed with that High Voltage has in store. I also came away with some sweet swag... High Voltage always has great swag. Check out the interview with Eric "How many Eric's work at High Voltage?" Stoll, and see out some games we got to play with. *cough* Nintendo 3DS *cough*.

I thought the Conduit 3DS was like some sort of rumor rather than an actual thing. I guess it'll be a straight port of the first game? Well, if it has very good controls, I'd love to give the game a try on my 3DS, since I didn't buy it for the wii.
It's good to see High Voltage try to add great games to the Wii's library. Maybe now they can add more great games to the 3DS library when it comes out. :O
Also, the hispanic side of me is raging at not hearing "Animales de la muerte" pronounced right. It's okay though, I gave that side a cookie and he's calmed down.
even for off screen crappy-quality footage Conduit 3DS looks amazing. near Halo 3/ODST quality for me and if they incorporate all Conduit 2 improvements and additional gameplay elements(like those Monster-Hunter-like quests etc.) into 3DS title i'm so getting it.
my only problem is 3rd person perspective - for such a small screen our character would take too much space for me.
Yeah, they have a tech demo, but from the way he talks about it, it sounds like the 3DS version hasn't been greenlit just yet. Hopefully Conduit 2 does well enough that SEGA gives the 3DS version the go-ahead.

Conduit 3DS is just a tech demo, to show off how easily they can point Wii assets, to the 3DS by using their Quantum 3 engine. They're not saying Conduit 2 is coming to 3DS, but they're also not saying, that it isn't coming to the 3DS either. Who knows, only time will tell!
This game is not even worth getting, its only gonna get hacked the minute its released, there are chatboxes and forums sooo excited to hack this, the story maybe great but like the first one the online is gonna be a load of TRASH.
i was soo excited when i bought the first one, the minute i got online there where people using cheat codes and that my friends influenced me NOT to play online wii games and ultimately stoped me from ever purchasing wii games with online multiplayer.
only a truely commited team can make a game good, they didnt show commitment in the first one when they said they would (A huge lie) so most likey the same thing will happen to this game.
If you want to buy this game feel free, i personally will not recomend it if you want it for the multiplayer, unless your one of the many "players" who just want infinate health and cheats to win.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. Conduit 3DS thingy is a third person shooter, the gameplay looks pretty bomb already, and, most of all, that chick's using her thumb!
You won't regret it!
