Episode 3 of Mortal Kombat: Legacy is a Cage-y one

2:00 AM on 04.26.2011

Oh ho! The headlines just write themselves.

As you may have surmised, this third installment in Kevin Tancharoen's Mortal Kombat: Legacy web series is focused on action star Johnny Cage. Featuring an opening installment with the folks from The Electric Playground and a cameo by Ed Boon, see the tragic situation a young hero has found himself in and the sinister man offering to set him free.

I'm glad that the Sonya/Kano/Jax storyline is seemingly over for the moment and I like this episode. It's still camp (as it should be) and it's still a less than thrilling character, but I like this episode better than the first two. I expect things are going to get interesting next week, as the story moves on to focus on Kitana and Mileena in episode 4.

Knights of the Old Republic and other Star Wars media no longer considered canon

That's a nice extended universe you've got there, Star Wars. It'd be a shame if it were invalidated. Actually, that's exactly what's happening. Lucasfilm announced just that today via the official Star Wars blog, where it wa...more
