Epic Zelda collection goes for over $2,000 on eBay photo

Making over $2,000 on eBay selling videogame related items sounds like a lot, but I can't help feel like the stuff in this auction was worth so much more.

This collection from eBayer mariana9430 contains just about everything with the Zelda name on it, including the Famicom Disk game, the gold Zelda DS, and the gold Triforce GameBoy Advance SP. Looking over the list (after the jump), I'd bet Shiggy-kun himself doesn't even have half of this stuff!

In the auction, the seller says:

And More and special gifts over than 10 000 $

I'm not sure what that means, but I think they're trying to say that they spent a lot on this stuff. The ending total of $2110 after 42 bids had to sting a bit. And free shipping? Ouch. I'm not sure I would have sold for that price after collecting for so long, but I understand needing money, especially these days.

Among the other notable auctions GameSniped lists is this really terrible looking NES inside a Xbox 360 mod. It has to be seen to be believed.

Wow that NES/360 mod looks terrible.

Sucks that some people are being forced to sell some epic collections because of money problems.

Yeah, I'm in the middle of getting ready to sell 230 games+systems. So I can understand having to sell a lot of stuff for less than what you paid for it. Also fuck eBay's double dipping.

Nonsense. The Shigeru-Miyamoto probably has all of these and three times more memorabilia that doesn't even exist yet.

Only 2.000$? Man that sucks for him, that rather see him make a museum. That collection must have been his live.

I think she means that if she got over $10K for it she'd add in some more stuff. At $2k for all that, I'd include a poop in a box with it. There's a reserve feature on ebay for a reason.

But to be honest, most of the games and consoles don't look like they're worth over 800 dollars together, seeing as Zelda was and is so popular and so everything is still easily attainable. There was also this at the end

'Art work phantom hourglass limited
many figurine from ocarina of time to wind waker and twilight princess.
Special art book the complete zelda story
Many zelda CDs sealed and USED
Zelda twilght princess guide book collector normal and also for the gamecube version
Many pins and stickers ,coins twilight princess all official product from Nintendo World store.'

If those were listed properly they could have added another 400 dollars or so :(
