You know things are going well if you have to double the size of your headquarters, and it seems that the makers of Gears of War and Unreal Tournament are doing just that.
The News & Observer reports that Epic just paid $1.57 million for five undeveloped acres adjacent from their current headquarters. They're looking to build an office that would double their campus size. It looks like game testers will work there.
We've pretty much run out of space here," said Mark Rein, an Epic vice president.
I'm still looking out for Destructoid's HQ doubling. I've been promised a corner office with unlimited beef jerky and root beer on tap, and I'm not going anywhere until they deliver.
