Yeah, looks awesome. The original is still on my backlog. I have to get to it eventually. Then again, just for games released in the past few months, I have to finish DA2, play more of MvC3, play Tactics Ogre, play Shogun 2 (which comes out today I believe), all while being neck deep in work and having several books to read.

I think this is the first game I've truly been amped for in years. Like, old school Nintendo antcipation from my childhood. My favorite hero, truly done justice in my favorite hobby. Love it.
A few of the animations looked a little choppy, but otherwise that was awesome. The music gave it a weird kind of Western vibe but it seemed to fit somehow.
Well that just took them 1,5 years to show off.
Sarcasm aside, movement felt clunky as fuck to me in Arkham Asylum, especially when I just wanted to get to an objective in another building, so the improvements they've made in movement alone has me interested.

That brought a smile to my face. I really enjoyed the first one so I have been looking forward to the sequel, and this trailer makes me excite!
The music kind of put me off, but other than that, this trailer has done the impossible and made me even more excited for Arkham City!

HOWEVER, as is tradition, I must complain about Harley Quinn. I can't believe Arleen Sorkin isn't playing Harley. What the fuck? Fuck that new chick. She sounds so mediocre.

That was the only thing that bugged me about it too. It sounded like Tara Strong (although I may be mistaken.) and as soon as she started talking I was like "whoa, that's not cool." Kinda drew me out of the moment.
Aside from that, this looks in-fucking-credible. The new movement and traversal stuff looks amazing.

Great trailer, but Harley's voice sounds like the fake Harley in that episode of Batman TAS where Joker gets rid of the real Harley. *shudder*
Well Kneecap me and call me Scooter! If i could sing i would dedicate You're My Inspiration by Chicago to this game... Holy fuck it looks bloody freakin' amazing! Bats and Cats there is NO way you can disappoint.

That is Arleen Sorkin. Her Harley voice has changed because she's 54 now, it's almost 20 years since she first voiced Harley. Obviously over time, and especially in the last few years and for the next few (or however long she keeps doing it), her voice isn't going to sound the same. Hence why Harley's voice now cracks a little more and sounds a little more hoarse generally.

I think the end of the trailer is very interesting. My understanding was that they'd kill the Joker off during the game because Mark Hamill said he wouldn't do the Joker voice again due to the strain it put on his vocal chords. Maybe they just plan to shelve the Joker or waved enough money at Mark to change his mind.

Somebody better settle this Arleen Sorkin argument, because IMDB says that she IS playing Quinn in Arkham City and I'm totally confused.
I had already planned on pre-ordering this but this just reassures me of that decision. Now, I'll be planning on the collector's edition if it comes with something good enough.
Looks awesome. I've been wanting to see some Just Cause 2 type mechanics with the cape and grapple.
