Garou: Mark of the Wolves is coming to Xbox Live Arcade today, and despite costing 800 Microsoft Points, it's already providing mass entertainment completely free of charge. Garou's summary on the Xbox Live Marketplace appears to have been run through Babelfish or something, because it's absolutely ridiculous.
Here is what XBLA shoppers will be treated to when checking today's new releases:
It is the latest title of the Fatal Fury series [GAROU -MARK OF THE WOLVES-] comes to Xbox LIVE! With the New Hero “Rock Howard” who is only son of Geese Howard and rose up by legendary wolf Terry Bogard, story of the new wolves begin. It banned the traditional line-system but instead bring in the brand-new systems such as “Just Defense”, “T.O.P. In” and “Braking”. It is not only system which renewed but also all the characters are new comers only except Terry Bogard. Don’t miss the extreme battles of wolves! This game requires the Xbox 360 hard drive for storage.
I wouldn't want to miss an extreme battle of wolves when this story of the new wolves begin! What an amazing sounding game. I'm tempted to fork over the 800 Points just because I feel I owe SNK Playmore for the free chuckle this morning.
Anybody picking this up? It banned the traditional line-system but instead bring in the brand-new system! You can't say no to that!
[Update: Our friend Jeff Gerstmann at Giant Bomb has done a dramatic reading of the summary. Good show!]
