Why do so many MMOs get the levelling so wrong? lol Even Rift, a game I love has horrible levelling.
The combat really is quite fun though; you need to move, dodge, block and aim to stay alive and BAM-fights (basically Elites on steroids) can be very intense.
1) 4.5hours average feels low for an MMO.
2) A free week with a game only to level 23, even if its for 8 characters, isn't going to offset subscription fees one bit.
3) I know people find the combat in this fun, but I find it to be a total drag unless you have a controller you can run with it. But I also feel like we shouldn't be -almost- required to have one to play the game optimally, and the game doesn't really give us that choice. I mean, we can play it without one, but playing it with a keyboard is a mess.
4) Only going to level 23 is an odd choice.. Like 20 makes sense cause its a round number.. But what happens at 23? I didn't get that far in the beta, but I can't imagine its anything too amazing.
5) I agree with a few others.. The starter stuff is kind of boring.
