Empire: Total War getting a big ol' update this month photo

Do you hear that? Yes sir, it's time for another Empire: Total War update. While Sega would rather make us wait anxiously for a few more weeks before telling us exactly when update 1.4 goes online, we do know that it will be going live later this month.

The game's AI is getting revamped, and "improvements have been made to sieges and naval battles, which have been rebalanced for an especially absorbing experience." While Creative Assembly won't be putting out Napoleon: Total War anytime soon, you can expect to see some DLC on the horizon for Empire. Look out!

@Zeta

If they added the visual stuff (where it actually shows you your commands and how close you have to be before your men start shooting) to Medieval II, then you'd have the perfect game. Although Empire is epic as shizznit, the army variation of Medieval II would be kind of nice.

Make up your mind? do you like Sega or not? You said, "I love the total war Series", then make fun of Sega by suggesting they can only fail.

Actually, you're completely off anyway. Sega is the publisher. Creative Assembly is the developer.

That's the reason I ended up buying the game... that update was meant to come out really quickly and they havn't even mentioned it for a long time.
