I'm the kind of gamer who doesn't really have enough time to play games all that often. So I guess that kind of makes me a "causal gamer". BUT, I not really a casual gamer in the sense that all I play is games for 4 year olds. I like playing hardcore games like Ninja Gaiden (Xbox & NES) and Metal Slug 3 (If you want to tell me that playing the last level on the Xbox version, AKA no continues mid-level, is not not hard, I will fight you). So in that sense, I'm kind of a "hardcore-ish" gamer. In conclusion, I guess what I'm really trying to say is I hate pigeon-holing things and I'm a "casually hardcore" gamer, if such thing exists.
Between my brother and I, we have amassed this collection of platforms: PC, NES, SNES, N64, Dreamcast PS2, XBOX, Gamecube, GB (the giant gray brick edition), GB Color, GBA SP, DS Lite, and Wii. I have never gotten rid of a console, and don't plan to. I kind of like having a quasi-museum.
The system I hold dearest to my heart would probably be my SNES. I grew up watching my brother play through RPG classics like Chrono Trigger, FF III (AKA FF VI), and EarthBound. So when I go back and play those games, I get kind of nostalgic. This would also explain why my favorite game of all time is EarthBound.
If it's not obvious at this point, I have always played consoles more than I have my PC, but that doesn't mean that I don't play it. 'Cuz I do. Look for me on Steam. My name is the exact same as it is here. Nubc4kes.
