I'll let you know a little about myself. My names John, I'm 22, I work at a local video rental store where I just watch movies, play portable games, and deal with dumb people. But video games are my life, and I'll play pretty much anything.
I've been playing video games my entire life, for as long as I remember. My gaming life didn't start until the Christmas we got an SNES, back when it first came out. Obviously Super Mario World was the first game we had, and after about a week I finished it, and wanted more. After that, every weekend we would rent games, (renting games was so much cheaper back then). I didn't really get an allowance, but I didn't care, as long as we kept renting games. Around the SNES years we also got a PC, where I struggled to learn how to use DOS to play my PC games. Later we got a CD drive for it, as well as games like Syndicate, Ultima 8, System Shock, and X-Com.
After games stopped coming out for the SNES, we later got a PS1 and continued to rent games every weekend or so. I also used not emulators to go back and play all those games I missed and could no longer find. Quickly the amount of games I had played and beaten increased, and like I said, I'll play pretty much anything. I still have my SNES hooked up, and I still buy games for it and I've even got a few imports.
I own an SNES, PS1, Dreamcast, PS2, PSP, DS and PS3. I seem to be a bit of a Sony fanboy, but I still try to play games on other systems at friends houses or even trading/stealing their console for a weekend.
In my non-gaming life. I work at a video store, so I'm also into Movies and some T.V. (LOST being my fave). I usually work the weekend mornings, where I get a lot of free time to just watch movies or play portable games.
