I'm a passionate gamer that has been gaming since I first got my hands on a game system (Odyssey, Apple IIe, etc). When it comes to my gaming preferences I'd much rather have some 'splosions, some gore, and excitement then some intricately laid out overzealous text romp. Which means that in general I'm a fan of FPS/Shmups/Beat Um' Ups/Thrid Person Action or anything that has a cool new angle even if everything else about it blows.
