Eh, I don't consider myself hardcore, I just love playing games that entertain me. To list favorites, it comes down to Myst, Riven, Age of Empires I, II, and III, Morrowind Elder Scrolls III (The morrowind part is the only one I'm sure of there xD ) Oblivion, Half Life II, Far Cry.... hm.... Age of Mythology... oh screw it, there are a lot out there. I don't particularly like Halo, but its ok for entertainment value.
I'm also partial to PC and Xbox/Xbox 360, though the Wii my brothers have isn't so bad. PS2 I don't know much about, so I won't say it sucks, and same goes for Gamecube (haven't tried that on the Wii yet).
Like I said, I'm not hardcore, I'm just friends with a lot of people who are, and enjoy being around them, so if I say something stupid or that sounds uninformed, please help me out without assuming I'm being an ass =p I am finding being around forums like this one and such is just as much fun as being around the people though. Fanboys are easy to make fun of, and smart people who know what they're talking about are awesome.
